Unlike many other gates that only span a doorway, it helps to create safer and roomier landings at the top or bottom of staircases and can also be used across wider openings. It's easy to arrange and install based upon your needs and preferences, and using the Newport Adapta-Gate makes this even easier. Designed by parents, for parents, our gate allows for 1-handed operation, has a convenient automatic close-and-lock feature, and comes with an EZY-Check indicator so you know when the gate securely closed. Our gate also comes with the Smart Stay-Open feature, which allows the gate to 'stay open' whenever it's not needed. Cleverly designed, the Dreambaby Newport Adapta Gate swings open in both directions, but you can limit it to open in only 1 direction.
