The CL1008MUKIT is capable of controlling up to 8 computers directly, making it a versatile solution for managing multiple systems. For larger setups, up to 15 additional KVM switches can be daisy-chained to the CL1008 / CL1016, allowing control of up to 128 computers from a single KVM console. This bundle includes the CL1008M 8-Port 17" LCD KVM Switch, a 2L5202UP 6 ft. USB KVM cable, and a 2L5203UP 10 ft. USB KVM cable. The console features an integrated 8-port KVM switch, keyboard, and touchpad, all housed in a compact 1-U high and 19" rack-mountable unit. The CL1008MUKIT boasts an auto-sensing feature for station position on daisy-chained installations, eliminating the need for manual DIP switch setting. It also supports daisy-chaining up to 11 ACS1208A KVM units, enabling control of up to 96 computers from a single console. With the CL1008MUKIT, there's no need for additional software. Computer selection is made easy via pushbutton, hotkey, or on-screen display (OSD). The AutoScan feature allows for convenient monitoring of selected computers, and the hot pluggable design lets you add or remove computers without having to power down the switch. Security is also a priority, with two-level password protection allowing up to four authorized users and an administrator to view and control the computers, with separate profiles for each. The console also features two-level logout - manual and timed - for added security. The CL1008MUKIT supports firmware upgrades through flash ROM and offers PS/2 keyboard and mouse emulation, ensuring computers boot even when the console focus is elsewhere. The 17" RGB analog LCD display supports high XGA resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 with 250cd/m(sq) brightness, providing clear, crisp visuals. Finally, the CL1008MUKIT is compatible with USB servers/computers, supported with the included Intelligent KVM cables (2L5202UP/2L5203UP), making it a comprehensive solution for your multi-computer control needs.
