The Elektron Tonverk is a polyphonic sampler, a flexible FX switchboard and a radical routing lab for studio & live! Polyphonic sampler Track architecture: 8 stereo audio tracks + 4 bus tracks, 3 send effects, 1 mix track for extremely flexible routing. Machines per audio track: Single Player, Multi Player, Subtracks (8 mono subtracks), MIDI (also selectable on bus tracks). Sampling: Recorder (internal/external) & Auto Sampler (automatic multisampling via MIDI). Single Player: Plays WAV (mono/stereo) polyphonic, loop points, crossfade for seamless Loops and much more. Multi Player: Loads/creates multisampled instruments; extensive sound library (samples, drumsets, presets). Subtracks ("Tracks in Tracks"): 8 monophonic, multitimbral subtracks per track, each with its own sequencer & parameters. Modulation per audio track: 2 LFOs + 2 FX LFOs + 1 mod envelope; 2 LFOs per bus/send/mix; pitch bend/mod wheel/breath/aftertouch assignable per track. Sequencer: Up to 256 steps per pattern & track, polyphonic; parameter locks, microtiming, retrig, trig conditions/chance, individual length & timescale per track, sequencer lanes; arp per audio & MIDI track. MIDI tracks: 16-voice polyphony per step, 16 freely assignable CCs, 2 LFOs per track. Performance: 2 trig modes (tracks/velocity), keyboard mode with 36 scales, chord mode, song mode. You can choose between four "machines" for each audio track: The Single Player plays WAV samples in mono or Stereo polyphonic, allows loop points and crossfades for seamless loops. The Multi Player loads multisample-based instruments from the extensive Library - or from your own recordings, which you can create automatically with the Auto Sampler via MIDI . With Subtracks, you can transform a track into eight monophonic, multitimbral subtracks, each with its own sequencer and individual parameters.
