Inside the PULSE16 AE, state-of-the-art ESS converters ensure reference-level sound quality. The ESS ES9017 DAC and ESS ES9840Q ADC deliver a dynamic range of up to 120 dB and a THD+N of -110 dB, preserving the finest sonic details while minimizing distortion and noise. 32 ADAT channels and flexible routing options Equipped with four ADAT inputs and four ADAT outputs, the PULSE16 AE supports up to 32 channels at 48 kHz, 16 channels at 96 kHz, or 8 channels at 192 kHz via SMUX. Its intelligent per-channel routing system allows any input to be assigned to any output, enabling fully customizable signal flow-ideal for complex production setups and hybrid studio environments. Professional connection diversity for every workflow With 16 balanced TRS inputs and 16 balanced TRS outputs (6.35 mm), the PULSE16 AE integrates seamlessly into professional workflows.
