With 5 new detachable microphone capsules, the great sound of the ND series and the new RE420 and RE520 microphones is transmitted to any portable radio system. The RE3 wireless microphones are only available for European countries and operate using different bandwidths for the European markets. The sound of the ND96 is powerful, rich and detailed and delivers exceptionally high gain before feedback for excellent acoustic control on very loud stages. Setup is quick and easy using the RE3's Clear Frequency scan and sync functions, and the wireless link between the rugged handheld transmitter and diversity receiver ensures robust system performance. The Set consists of the ND96-RC3 microphone head, the RE3-HHT handheld transmitter and the RE3-RX diversity receiver. Electro Voice ND96-RC3 microphone head The Electro-Voice ND96-RC3 is a rugged, high-performance, dynamic cardioid threaded vocal microphone head for wireless handheld transmitters. This microphone head adapts electrically and mechanically to Electro-Voice (and many other brands) wireless handheld transmitters that use the standard 1.25" diameter 3-contact rings through the 28-thread pitch. The floating captured ID collar rotates freely until the head is tightened. It remains locked in place after tightening. This allows the desired alignment of the branding on the transmitter. Designed for excellent acoustic control on very loud stages, the ND96-RC3 offers special structural and acoustic designs that create performance characteristics that allow the microphone's gain to be increased before feedback in a microphone. The dynamic capsule of the microphone head contains a large Mylar diaphragm that delivers a full and detailed frequency response by combining its large surface area for tonal balance with its low mass, high velocity material for exceptionally fast transient response.
