The thin maple shells in Sonor Vintage construction (4 mm/6 mm) are glued stress-free in the CLTF process and built with a reinforcing ring. The sound is characterized by resonance and balance as well as focused attack. Thanks to the Optimum Shell Measurement the heads lie precisely on the 45° bearing edges. The tuning pins are equipped with the Sonor Tune-Safe principle, which keeps the tuning stable. Rubber-lined shell hardware and the T.A.R. Mounting System allow the shell to resonate freely. Due to the Optimum Shell Measurement process, the heads fit even better, which is characterized by warm sound and perfect tunability.
