Built with a cutaway design and and under-saddle piezo pickup and System66 analogue preamp, this guitar is ideal for plugged-in performances. The Yamaha FG Series comes with a unique scalloped bracing pattern, which enables such a loud and strong sound in the low- to mid-ranges. With the potential for a rich overtone, a long sustain, deep lows and bright highs, the System 66 under-saddle piezo pickup comes with controls including a 3-band EQ, an adjustable mid-range frequency control, and a precision chromatic tuner.
