This sensational DJ mixer provides a precise 4-band, full-kill EQ on all channels, so that complete cancellations as well as subtle interventions of individual frequency ranges can be realised. The EQ response is perfectly optimised for excellent, intuitive control over bass, low-mid, high-mid and treble. In addition to the EQ section, low-pass and high-pass filters with dedicated control per channel have been built in. For level control, the exceptional DJ mixer provides a 12 LED meter display. Unique among DJ mixers so far are the 2 microphone inputs with phantom power and the compressor for the microphone signal that can be selected via channel 1. This allows the naturally high dynamic range of a voice to be specifically counteracted, i.e. the microphone signal can be transmitted with consistent loudness. Other features include two aux inputs for looping in external effects devices, a replaceable crossfader and two headphone connections. Apart from the typical RCA inputs for line and phono signals, the FF6.2 R also offers a balanced jack input on channels 1 & 2 in addition to a microphone input. On the output side, the line mixer provides professional, balanced XLR connections for the master and booth signals as well as a separate mono output. The balanced outputs also have a 6-pin Phoenix output including a remote port for controlling the separate output in order to provide sound for another zone. For alarm announcements, for example, there is also a mute port that mutes the music but lets the microphone signal through.
