The Pipe transforms speech, singing, breathing, humming or beatboxing into Bass, Lead Sounds, Rhythms and Abstract Soundscapes. Thus The Pipe differs clearly from a Vocoder, making itself a unique proposition. The 12x Algorithms - Orpheus, Filterra, Synth, Reverb, Madelay, Pulse, Bassdrum (3x variants), Octava, Generator and Harcho - have been optimized especially for use with the Microphone and offer an incredible sound spectrum. The Pipe has Volume and Algorithm Controls, alongside 3x Knobs and 4x Buttons. Accessories & Extensions For operation, The Pipe must be connected to the Breakout Box, which has a Stereo Jack Output (6.3mm) and the Connection for the Power Supply Unit. The Box, the 4-Pin XLR Connection Cable and the Power Supply Unit are also included in the package. 2x replacement Microphones are offered as optional Accessories, each of which is optimized for low or high frequency ranges. Depending on the Microphone type used, the Algorithms have a stronger Effect on the sound. Effect Processor When the Microphone is disconnected, a standard 6.3mm Jack Mono Cable can be connected to The Pipe and any Instrument such as a Drum Computer. Instead of the voice, it is now the External Signal that is processed by the 12x Algorithms. Again, the possibilities go far beyond most existing Effect Devices.
