Höfner naturally uses a body with laminated maple back and sides and a laminated spruce top, which in combination with the short 30" scale length (762 mm) promises a particularly sonorous sound with a powerful bass foundation. In addition, the short-scale construction guarantees smooth playing characteristics on the three-piece maple-beech neck. With two Höfner Staple pickups, the Höfner Contemporary Club Bass delivers flexible bass sounds with a distinct vintage character at the bass amplifier, whereby the classic passive circuit with rhythm solo switch, two pickup on/off switches and two volume controls make multifaceted timbres available.
