The robust steel construction allows easy integration into standardised 19-inch racks and ensures space-saving accommodation of multiple Mac mini in server rooms, studios or mobile racks. The design of the RackMac mini (2024+) supports the thermal architecture of the Mac mini by ensuring effective air circulation. Strategically placed ventilation openings at the front ensure that cool air can flow through the underside of the devices, while warm exhaust air is discharged unhindered to the rear. This keeps the temperature stable even in densely populated rack environments. Another key feature is the dedicated front buttons, which provide access to the Mac mini's power buttons. In addition, generous openings on the front and rear make it easier to connect and disconnect cables without having to remove the devices from the housing. Under each Mac mini, the RackMac mini (2024+) provides a storage area for a compact USB SSD or other flat, bus-powered devices.
