The incredibly well designed, built-in drainage system prevents you from having to open the louvred roof as any excess water that lands on the louvres, flow into u shaped channels. Water will not pool on top, as any excess rainwater will flow from the roof into the aluminium framework of the pergola, once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater flows into the legs and then vertically down to the ground. It's important to remember that pergolas are not watertight buildings and in the event of torrential rain, the water may not flow through the guttering system quick enough and therefore cause leakage, much like an overwhelmed gutter on a house. This well-engineered contemporary pergola requires 2-3 people to assemble and should be completed in approximately 2-3 hours. We recommend mounting the pergola onto a solid and flat surface. Once assembly is complete, it's crucial to promptly secure the structure to the floor using the bolts that are provided as standard. Not doing so risks structural integrity, potentially causing beams to shift. Unbolted feet leave your pergola vulnerable to movement, compromising its durability and safety. All PergoSTET pergolas come with a 3-year warranty on the frame and a 1-year warranty on the louvres.
