The Gastronorm container can hold in parallel all the components of a meal or various dishes such as meat, fish, vegetables, rice, potatoes and sauces at the desired temperature, without allowing them to burn. The food warmer is perfectly suited to meet the needs of any upscale food service establishment, as well as restaurants, hotels, canteens, buffets, snack bars, dining halls or retirement homes and hospitals. The gas bain marie works using the convection principle: A heating element heats the water between the device and the GN container and transfers the heat to the container. This allows you to not only effectively heat even delicate dishes, but also to keep them warm over a long period of time without the risk of burning them. The heating container is particularly impressive with its large filling volume. The GN container (GN 1x 1/1) with lids are 150 mm deep and can each hold a large quantity of food which can be heated or kept hot in parallel. This can save you a great deal of time, which is particularly advantageous when you are preparing food for large events or during peak times in restaurants, canteens or hotels. Other GN containers with a maximum container depth of 150 mm can also be used in the bain-marie and combined in various configurations.
