The Eddie Cochran SIGNATURE Hollow Body model is based on the distinctively modified guitar that powered Cochran's highly influential but all-too-brief career. Premium features include the Western Maple Stain finish, a special 'open' internal body design and the unique combination of a DynaSonic single-coil bridge pickup and Lindy Fralin P-90 'dog -ear' single-coil neck pickup, a three-ply arched Maple top with parallel bracing and double-bound f-holes, three-ply arched Maple back and three-ply Maple sides with 2-ply white and black body binding. Other appointments include a two-piece Maple neck with 9.5" radius and single-ply binding, a polished brass nut, a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with western-themed pearloid inlays (cactus, steer heads and fences), single-ply headstock binding, translucent plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo, 'G' arrow control knobs, a compensated aluminium bridge with Rosewood base and a Bigsby B6GBVF tailpiece and gold-plated Grover V98G Sta-Tite tuners.
