Jackson uses a poplar body with a quilted maple top, that is perfectly balanced on the strap thanks to the extended upper horn, while the bolt-on maple neck lies in the hand comfortably thanks to the "Speed Neck" profile and Laurel fingerboard with compound radius. Two Jackson medium-output humbuckers promise a juicy bass sound with growling low-end, that can be precisely adjusted via the active 3-band EQ. A push/pull switch in the volume control switches the bass to classic passive mode if desired, and a mini switch can be used for coil-split sounds.
