It is wrapped in matte black and features distinctive Platinum Bats on the fretboard. Schecter chose a mahogany body with an arched top and a glued, three-piece maple neck, which, thanks to the Ultra Access Heel and "Thin C" profile, ensures excellent playability up to the highest positions of the rosewood fretboard. The extended 28" scale length ensures a precise reproduction of all strings. Two EMG 808 humbuckers enable ripping high-gain sounds. Last but not least the Schecter Damien Platinum-8 LH Satin Black is equipped with a Schecter Custom hardtail bridge and Grover tuners for perfect intonation and maximum tuning stability. EMG pickups for powerful rock and metal sounds For the proper sound, the Schecter Damien Platinum-8 Satin Black is equipped with active EMG pickups, which are not for nothing considered the reference for particularly brute sounds in rock and metal circles. Equipped with Alnico V magnets, the EMG 808 humbuckers placed at the neck and bridge produce a powerful sound that presents even the lowest notes precisely and with high assertiveness. The pickups are managed via the familiar 3-way circuit and global volume and tone controls. Schecter Custom Hardtail and Grover tuners Last but not least, the Schecter Damien Platinum-8 Satin Black convinces with its high-quality and reliable hardware features. A Schecter Custom hardtail bridge is mounted on the body, behind which the strings are guided through the body in string thru style, and helps the strings im sounding defined.
