The J-bass sound of the Motone J is realized by two Lollar single-coil pickups. The spruce body is complemented by a nitrocellulose vintage cream-aged finish, giving the Motone J a classic used look. The maple neck has a D-shape neck profile and offers high playability for fast and precise riffs. In addition, the Motone J comes with a double truss rod, which allows the neck curvature to be precisely adjusted to ensure optimum playability. The rosewood fingerboard has a 7.25" radius and is fitted with 20 jumbo frets. Maybach Motone J in a vintage cream-aged finish. Lollar single-coil pickups The Lollar pickups give the Motone J its characteristic J-bass sound, which is characterized by clear highs and assertive mids. The rich timbre shines with a dynamic output with plenty of definition and offers an assertive sound for genres from pop to rock that prefer a present Bass sound. The volume of both single coils can be precisely adjusted using two volume controls - there is also a tone control on the Motone J for adjusting the tone. Comfortable feel and lightweight Gotoh GB 640 4LN tuners The Motone J Bass focuses on a comfortable playing experience, which is realized by the D-shape neck profile and the 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard. The slightly rounded edges of the fingerboard give the neck a pleasant feel and ensure a comfortable playing experience. Furthermore, the Gotoh GB 640 4LN tuners are approx. 40 grams lighter than comparable tuning machines and ensures precise tuning stability of the Motone J despite its low weight.
