The Miniature Clip Mic System (MCM) was developed by Neumann specifically for close miking of acoustic instruments. For music operations, all previously "unavoidable" compromises in terms of sound, ease of use, and mounting options are now a thing of the past. Orchestras, theaters, and technical rental companies will soon be able to elicit the full sound from acoustic instruments. The capsule: Perfection in Eight Parts The set includes the Neumann KK 14 cardioid capsule, which sets new standards in close miking for full, natural sound - also in terms of the signal fidelity and precision of electret systems. Thanks to a completely new manufacturing process, Neumann also has the previously common manufacturing tolerances in level and frequency response completely under control. In addition, with an extremely high limiting sound pressure level, the capsule delivers perfect results for both very quiet and very loud instruments. The housing of the hand-assembled KK 14 capsule is made of titanium, resulting in a massive reduction in total cost of ownership as the system is designed to last for decades. The outstanding sound goes hand in hand with a variety of self-adjusting spring systems and newly developed professional mounting concepts. Mounting: Gentle to surfaces - Reliable to use An integral part of the Miniature Clip Mic System MCM is a wide range of microphone mounting clips that allow the microphone capsule to be easily and reliably attached to any instrument. The clips are gentle on even the most sensitive surfaces and allow the microphone to be attached quickly and easily. The Miniature Clip Mic System MCM can be attached to most instruments with just one hand - and in just a few seconds. Compatible with all wireless systems To ensure a native connection with all major transmitters, the Neumann MCM 114 SET DRUMS features a 1.8 meter cable with 3.5mm jack connector.
