Whether you go up or down a trail or just speeding up on flat terrain, you will have maximum fun due to the best mix of e-support and the riding characteristics of a pure bike without motor. The light, full carbon frame rolling on 29" wheels is powered by the super-compact Fazua Ride 60 e-drive with a 420 Wh battery. The 160/150 mm full suspension bike is fully optimised on low weight and built around a fun-oriented geometry. A geometry switch makes it even more versatile and adjustable to your needs. The JAM² SL is ready for all your mountain and trail adventures. Features of the FOCUS JAM² SL 8.7 Carbon MTB E-Bike Light e-mountain bike thanks to a lightweight carbon frame and the Fazua Ride 60 e-drive with 60 Nm and 420 Wh battery 160 mm DVO Diamond e-bike suspension fork and 150 mm RockShox Deluxe rear shock with F.O.L.D. kinematics Fully integrated C.I.S. cable routing with trail-ready SRAM NX Eagle 1x12 shifting The geometry of the JAM² SL can be adjusted via two points: Steering angle and chainstay length. The steeper steering angle of 65.5° leads to a more agile handling of the bike, while the flatter position of 64.5° provides a more downhill-oriented setting. Adjusting the chainstays from 440 to 447 mm via the FLIP CHIPs changes the entire set-up of your bike. If you set the FLIP CHIPs to a long position, the JAM² SL rides more stable and facilitates steep climbs, while the short setting leads to a more agile geometry. For the JAM² SL, the F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) has been adapted and the number of joint parts reduced, thereby significantly saving weight. The new kinematics reduces even more the braking influences and gives you maximum control over your bike in every situation.
