The module has 728 internal sounds and 100 Drum kits stored. The sound engine of the module is based on the TD-50 from Roland. In addition, up to 500 User samples can be inserted. There is 64 MB of internal memory available. With the Prismatic Sound Modeling function, every instrument sounds lifelike and natural. The TD-27 supports Roland's digital pads, enabling high-resolution multi-sensor triggering on the hi-hat, snare and ride pads . The Roland TD-27 features a Bluetooth interface, which can be used to stream directly from a smartphone to the module. The VAD504 V-Drums Acoustic Design Kit features a 14'' snare and floor tom, a 10'' rack tom and a 20'' Bass drum for a natural playing feel. The shells are made of wood and come with mesh heads. They enhance the authentic acoustic feel while playing.
