Genelec 8340A Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Dark Grey) with DSP Technology & 2x 50W Class-D Amplifiers Genelec 8340A Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Dark Grey) The Genelec 8340A Studio Monitor (Dark Grey) is an Active 2-Way Studio Monitor that not only gets the maximum sound and linearity out of their respective volumes, but also set new standards in terms of functionality with Genelec's Smart Active Monitoring System. 8340A Loudspeakers feature newly developed, optimised Cabinets that not only allow the built-in Woofers to vibrate as freely and unaffected as possible, but have also been designed for optimal Linearity in order to realise the audibility and hyper-accurate imaging that is required in the most demanding Audio Productions. For example, the 8340A Cabinet Design features only curved shapes which seamlessly integrate the Tweeter's waveguides. 2x 50W Class-D Power Amplifiers drive the Woofer and Tweeter, which are housed in a sturdy Die-Cast Aluminium Cabinet. Despite its compact dimensions, the Speaker delivers astonishingly differentiated Bass via the Reflex Port. The supplied Iso-Pod Stands guarantee excellent decoupling of the Speakers and allow them to be angled individually to the listener's position.
