With the MAUI 28, LD Systems presents the update of their successful MAUI series. Equipped with new, more powerful Class D power amplifiers, the LD MAUI G2 now moves a little closer to the performance potential of a full-fledged PA system. High power, best performance, extensive features Designed as a classic column system, the MAUI 28 G2 convinces with its high mobility and high performance potential in equal measure. Consisting of a subwoofer module, which also integrates the mixing console, Class D power amplifiers and DSPs, and a column element that can be split for transport, the MAUI 28 G2 manages a total of 20 built-in speakers with a peak power of 2600 watts. Two 8" woofers in the subwoofer provide a substantial bass boost, while 16 individual 3" midrange drivers guarantee the best speech intelligibility and a wide effective range of the array system. Two 1" neodymium pressure drivers also provide the necessary transparency in the high frequency range. Special DynX-Technology DSP chips realize a reliable audio performance with extremely low distortion even at peak power levels. For this purpose, a multiband limiter, an intelligent EQ, compressor and an intelligent 3-way crossover with delay correction work simultaneously and DSP-controlled in the background. The special arrangement of the individual speakers ensures a high range, as well as wide room coverage, which makes separate monitor speakers in many cases unnecessary. The special waveguide of the tweeters provides an optimized dispersion pattern to effectively sound even a larger audience. This makes the MAUI 28 G2 the ideal mobile PA system for practicing musicians, smaller bands, speakers and small artists, but also interesting for a variety of installations, such as in churches, conference rooms, schools, universities or public spaces of all kinds.
