Compact subwoofer with high-end qualities The Quested SB8 studio subwoofer is the smaller version of the SB10 and is also best used with the SBC250 power amplifier/crossover. Due to the relatively small 8" cone and the smaller cabinet, positioning is much easier and the subwoofer is better placed under a desk or in the corner of a room. The easier positioning is a real benefit, especially in combination with the compact V2104 nearfield monitors, because the subwoofer can be positioned just as close to the listening position as the monitors and phase problems can therefore be better eliminated. Despite its surprisingly small size, the SB8 produces impressive low bass down to below 45Hz and plays with maximum impulse response - dry, relaxed and without distortion.
