Handcrafted from the finest American ash and equipped with high-quality cowhides and chrome-plated hardware, they leave nothing to be desired for demanding percussionists. Thanks to the Meinl Free Ride Suspension System, the Macho and Hembra can vibrate independently of each other and thus freely develop their sound. Instead of a wooden block, the two shells are connected via the lower rims, which also has the pleasant side effect that the shells do not need any drill holes. Traditional Tuning Rims (TTR) and 8 mm tuning hooks ensure an even tuning of the True Skin cowhides . Also included is an L-shaped tuning key and a bottle of Meinl Tune-Up oil.
