The electric guitar from the Bolt-on series follows the tried and tested recipe with a maple bolt-on neck in a slim 'Pattern Thin' profile and offers a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard for two full octaves per string. The CE 24 Special draws its enormous tonal diversity from its HSH pickup setup, which consists of two 85/15 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position and an NS-01 single-coil in the middle position. In addition, the two humbuckers can be switched to coil split mode via the push/pull function of the tone control, so that airy single-coil sounds are also possible on the neck and bridge.
