Managed by a 4-way rotary switch and the traditional passive circuit with volume and tone controls, three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups deliver multi-faceted sound colors with high assertiveness. Lightweight Hipshot bass tuners and a Dingwall Solo Bridge complete the equipment of the D-Roc Standard 5 AM Aquamarine Metalflake E-Bass from Dingwall. The Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5 AM Aquamarine Metalflake is a modern rock bass with multiscale construction and powerful pickups. The mahogany body and the "Medium Thin C" maple neck of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard are bolted together four times. Multiscale construction The heart of the elegant modern-retro design of the Dingwall D-Roc is undoubtedly the multiscale construction, which allows each string to vibrate with an optimized scale length of between 34" (864 mm) for the G and 37" (940 mm) for the B.
