This guitar not only impresses with its high-quality nitrocellulose finish, but also delivers a balanced blend of traditional handling and modern sound. The curly maple top in particular gives the instrument a grandiose look, while two 58/15 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position and coi-split push/pull function are available for numerous sound combinations. Manufactured in a limited edition, the CE 22 Limited Edition is aimed equally at collectors and players who value flexibility, excellent workmanship and a sound full of character. The PRS CE 22 Limited Edition 84 is supplied with a PRS Premium Gigbag so that the instrument can be accompanied in the studio, rehearsal room or on tour with optimum protection. Body, neck & hardware The body is made of mahogany with a fine curly maple top including Carroll Blue nitrocellulose finish, which gives the instrument an exclusive look. The bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the pattern regular profile and, in combination with the 10" scale (635 mm), provides the typical PRS playing feel. 22 frets and the distinctive bird inlays make the fretboard both functionally and visually unmistakable. The PRS Phase III Locking tuners in combination with the PRS Patented Tremolo ensure tuning stability even with intensive tremolo use. 58/15 LT humbucker and push/pull function The sound diversity of the CE 22 Limited Edition 84 is based on two 58/15 LT humbuckers, which are characterized by their open, warm sound and dynamic response. The 3-way toggle switch and the push/pull function of the tone control allow the sound spectrum to be further expanded - from brilliant single-coil sounds to powerful humbucker riffs, everything is possible. The guitar effortlessly covers a broad spectrum from Blues to rock.
