It combines HK Audio's long-standing sound experience with modern features such as Remote Control via App, Bluetooth 5.0 with True Wireless Stereo, Sound Modes and user-friendly Cardioid Mode. Sonar is the affordable entry into the world of Sound Systems that meet professional demands. The Sonar Series consists of 3x Active Full-Range Tops with mobile and robust multifunctional enclosures made of Plastic, alongside the Active Bass Sonar 115 Sub D, which convinces with its powerful Electronics and the highly efficient Loudspeaker in a Low-Resonance Wooden Cabinet. The full-coverage Steel Front Grille gives the Sonar Series its extravagant look. 12" Full-Range Top The Sonar 112 Xi is a 12" Full-Range Top Unit and a combination of modern, Advanced Technology Engineered in Germany. The practical Remote-Controlled Operating Mode and the elegant appearance underline the performance and aims of the Sonar Range. The Active Full-Range Top Unit has a 12" Woofer with a 2.5" Voice-Coil and a 1" High-Frequency Driver with a 1.35" Voice-Coil. In combination with an efficient Class-D Power Amplifier, an output of 1200W (@ Peak) is achieved, providing prominent Lows for punchy Bass and a rich sound. The Frequency Range extends from 54Hz-20kHz. The maximum Sound Pressure Level is 130dB. Dispersion is 90° Horizontal and 60° Vertical. Connectivity 2x XLR Jack Combo Sockets are available as Switchable Microphone or Line Inputs, as well as a Mini-Jack Aux Input for connecting Tablets, Smartphones, Laptops or MP3 Players, and an XLR Mix Out for outputting the Sum Signal to another Speaker. For Wireless Audio Streaming, the Speaker offers Bluetooth 5.0 and the TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function allows 2x Xi Models to connect via Bluetooth and deliver True Stereo Sound without the need for Audio Cables between the Speaker and the connected Player. Robust & Scratch-Resistant Housing Thanks to its ergonomic shape, Sonar Speakers can be used equally well standing up or lying down as a Floor Monitor - a 35mm High Stand Flange (with 0° or 7.5° Tilt) allows the Speaker to be mounted on a conventional Speaker Stand. The robust and scratch-resistant Multi-Functional Housing is made of sturdy Plastic and has a single Grip. Due to the enclosure's insensitivity to moisture, the active full-range top unit is thus ideally suited for demanding applications. 24-bit DSP Technology All Xi Models feature 24-bit DSP Technology with a High-Resolution Colour Display.
