The Quantum Series Thunderbolt driver was designed from the ground up to deliver ultra-low latency performance with maximum efficiency. State-of-the-art 24-bit, 192 kHz converters with 115 dB dynamic range and superior clocking, and coupled with the ultra-transparent, all-analog XMAX preamps, result in superb audio quality with the lowest round-trip latency of any audio interface available (< 1 ms*). The front panel of the Presonus Quantum 2626 provides the user with 8 combo jack inputs for instruments, microphones and line signals and two adjustable headphone preamps, while the back panel offers 8 balanced outputs, a stereo main output, Midi IN/OUT SPDIF, word clock and optical ins and outs with a respective sampling rate of 48 - 96 kHz. The analogue XMAX preamps as well as the high resolution of the digital converter ensure a warm, authentic and brilliant recording.
