The Orange Dark Terror Guitar Amp Head, is a Class A valve amp head with a tube-driven effects loop and an extra gain stage. Class-A circuitry is usually found in high-end boutique valve amps, so even though the Orange Dark Terror is menacingly small and easily transportable, it has mind blowing tone that combines the shape control of the Thunder series with the weight and size of the Terror range. With its new 'Dark' looks, the Dark Terror DA15H head stands out from the other Terror amps, though the difference is not just aesthetic. Additional to the two EL84 power tubes and two 12AX7 preamp tubes the Tiny Terror shares, the Dark Terror has an extra ECC83/12AX7 tube in its preamp stage, providing more gain any Orange Terror amp has ever had, and an effects loop driven by an ECC81/12AT7 tube. The Dark Terror is the most versatile amp in the Terror range. The power amp is switchable between 7 and 15 watts making this an ideal partner for your guitar for both recording and live work.
