The highlight of the analogue Microtubes Combo 500 is its versatility for use in rehearsal rooms, Studio or on stage, thanks to flexible features such as the D.I. output or headphone output with cabinet simulation. In addition, the 4-band EQ with controls for low, low mids, hi mids and Treble allows for extensive tone control, while two different drive modes provide plenty of saturation or rough distortion. The drive and clean signal can be mixed using the blend control, providing a variable sound palette for all genres. The bass combo also provides an aux input for connecting external playback devices such as laptops, smartphones or MP3 players, with the signal going directly to the headphone output. An effects loop also ensures seamless integration of external effects, while other features such as a passive/active switch for more sound power, a compressor control for fine-tuning the dynamics or a footswitch input for the Darkglass Super Intelligent Footswitch, conventional footswitches or MIDI footswitches are available.
