Boss Katana Artist Gen 3 at a glance The Katana amplifier of the 3rd Generation offers six different amp voicings, including a new pushed mode that provides a powerful and assertive sound. Each amp voicing is equipped with a selectable sound variation, allowing for immense tonal flexibility. The Bloom switch can be used to activate an independent circuit that changes the response of the amp and opens up new dynamic sound images. The amp not only offers plenty of tonal flexibility but also comes with all the features that give every musician a big "quality-of-life" upgrade in practice sessions, in the rehearsal room and on stage. Functions and features of the Katana Artist Gen 3 The five independent effect sections - Booster, Mod, FX, Delay and Reverb - offer an extensive range of sound shaping options. Of particular interest is the solo section, which is equipped with an independent level booster and a delay effect. This function makes it possible to bring solos to the fore at the touch of a button and give them more presence. The 3-way Contour control allows precise control of the tone and helps to hit the preferred sound exactly. In addition, three selectable Global EQ options are available, allowing the overall sound to be adapted to different playing environments. The three cabinet resonance types - Vintage, Modern and Deep - provide even more tonal fine-tuning, each offering a different sound characteristic.
