The Rickenbacker 360, Mapleglo Semi-Acoustic Guitar is one of the most famous and coveted guitars of the last sixty years, thanks to its innovative and original design and presence in creating the British sound of the 1960s. The modern day version of the Rickenbacker 360 is very similar to the original 1960s model, with only a couple of subtle changes. It features a soft-curved hollow maple body, making it incredibly comfortable to play, while the double cutaway enables full access to all 24 frets on the rosewood fretboard. The Ricki 360 offers two of Rickenbacker's own high-gain single-coil pickups with seperate tone and volume controls for each one. There is also a small mixer control, which allows for more of the neck pickup's signal to be mixed in when used together with the bridge pickup, providing a great variety of very usable tones. The addition of both mono and stereo outputs makes the Rickenbacker 360 a versatile instrument. The 360 Mapleglo's fretboard is decorated with triangular pearloid inlays, and the guitar features Rickenbacker's trademark headstock and an 'R' shaped tailpiece.
