It is wrapped in matte black and features distinctive Platinum Bats on the fretboard. Schecter chose a mahogany body with an arched top and a glued, three-piece maple neck, which, thanks to the Ultra Access Heel and "Thin C" profile, ensures excellent playability up to the highest positions of the rosewood fretboard. The extended 28" scale length ensures a precise reproduction of all strings. Two EMG 808 humbuckers enable ripping high-gain sounds. Last but not least the Schecter Damien Platinum-8 LH Satin Black is equipped with a Schecter Custom hardtail bridge and Grover tuners for perfect intonation and maximum tuning stability. The pickups are managed via the familiar 3-way circuit and global volume and tone controls.
