Mahogany & AAA curly maple veneer As a striking visual highlight, each Les Paul Standard '60s features a solid maple top crowned with a AAA-grade curly maple veneer. A transparent finish in timeless Gibson-inspired colors shows off the beautiful figuring. The solid mahogany body is paired with a glued-in mahogany Slim Taper '60s neck, offering the smooth, time-tested playability that made the original Les Paul famous. Epiphone ProBucker Pickups Tone comes from a pair of Epiphone ProBucker pickups: a ProBucker-2 in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3 at the bridge. Together they produce the classic Les Paul voice, from articulate jazz cleans and the signature "woman tone" to punchy, sustaining rock leads.
