Classic 17" body made from maple laminate Following the recipe of the classic Falcon, all components of the body in the form of the top, sides and back are made of laminated maple. The 17" construction in combination with the two F-holes and the innovative Arc-Tone bracing ensures a particularly resonant construction that adds an incomparable acoustic note to the basic sound of the Professional Collection Falcon Hollow Body. The body is finished with an elegant high-gloss black finish and all-round bindings in Silver sparkle look. Gretsch PRO-FT Filter'Trons As an authentic replica of the traditional Filter'Trons used in the early Gretsch Hollowbody instruments, the two Gretsch PRO-FT Filter'Trons in the neck and bridge position provide unmistakable vintage sounds. The two dual coilers effectively suppress ambient noise and are easily available for clear and dynamic cleans and expressive leads as well as for high-resolution Chords and higher gain settings. The circuit elements also remain classic and consist of a common master Volume as well as two separate volume controls and a global treble control.
