The Pro version features advanced AKM 32-bit premium converters with a 115 dB dynamic range and 256x oversampling at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz. The audio outputs can be configured either as one stereo pair with balanced connections or as two stereo pairs with unbalanced outputs. Compared to the XXL version, the soundset has been updated and further refined. The sound module offers 16-part multitimbrality with 256-voice polyphony and an extensive library of 710 sounds and 43 drum kits. The professional GM sound bank alone includes 128 tones, complemented by an impressive range of 16 grand pianos, 28 electric pianos, 46 organs, 165 synthesizers, 80 accordions, 20 strings, 111 wind instruments, 65 guitars and basses, as well as 36 percussion and orchestral instruments. Reverb (with a dedicated control) and chorus effects add depth and dimension to the sound. Half of the 4 GB flash memory is devoted to the GM sound bank, offering exceptional sample length, quality, and dynamic response. The remaining sounds include renowned instruments from various genres, each recreated with great attention to authenticity. The 43 drum kits cover a wide range of styles including rock, dance/electronic, R&B, hip-hop, and even orchestral percussion. Many of the sounds use round-robin sampling, ensuring natural and realistic playback. Control is intentionally minimal and intuitive, featuring only Master Volume and Reverb knobs on the device. All other parameters are accessed via MIDI commands, so a master keyboard or controller capable of sending CC and program change messages is required.
