The 1081 has been used consistently throughout the decades that followed, and can be heard on some of the greatest recordings ever made, right up to the present day. Each unit is hand-built to order in the UK Burnley factory, and the 1081 is regarded as the perfect Pre-Amplifier for recording in the Studio, particularly effective with Bass, Drums and Percussion Instruments.
