The Toms are suspended with the new Sonor Smart Mount bracket, and the trestle design and nameplate have also been revised. The drum shells are made of 6 layers of birch, each with a total thickness of 7.2 mm. Included is a hardware package from the Sonor 2000 series with 2 x boom cymbal stands, 1 x snare stand, 1 x Hi-Hat and single pedal. The bass drum hoop, just like the shells, is finished with a high-gloss lacquer to match the color of the set. High-quality Remo and Pinstripe heads harmoniously support the powerful and bright sound of the birch shells and give the sound a deep basic character with plenty of attack. Please note that the basins shown are not included in the scope of delivery AQ1: Birch shells with Remo heads and innovative shell hardware The 5 shells of the Sonor AQ1 drum set consist of 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 7.2 mm. This results in a resonant, loud sound with plenty of attack. The high-quality Remo and Pinstripe heads, which are loved for their full and deep sound, add the necessary low bass. The newly designed lugs and the AQ1 nameplate harmoniously continue the modern design line, which is then perfectly completed by the high-gloss lacquer and the bass drum hoop in the set colour. A world first: Sonor Smart Mount The tom-toms in the Sonor AQ1 series are suspended using the Smart Mount System. This innovative mounting system for drums was manufactured by Sonor in Germany and impresses with its minimalist design and high functionality. The suspension has only two points of contact with the drum shell, allowing it to vibrate freely and unhindered. In the Sonor Smart Mount System, a suspension rail is incorporated directly into the tension bracket and there is also a high-quality hard rubber buffer between the shell and rail for more resonance and balanced sustain. 5-piece Hardware Set by Sonor from the 2000 series The Sonor HS 2000 Hardware Set is a drum hardware Set with a double-braced base for beginners and advanced players from the Sonor 2000 hardware series. Thanks to its lightweight yet robust design, the Set is also ideal for smaller gigs and tours as well as the rehearsal room.
