In addition to the smaller housing, the compact head has a USB interface with Mic Sim, headphone output and an integrated load resistor. Unlike its big brother, the 6505 Mini Head has separate Post gain controls for each channel, allowing volume adjustment between channels. Furthermore, the 6505 Mini has now been equipped with a reverb effect for creamy and room-filling lead sounds. A true lifesaver is the two LED lights above the or and standby switch because the TSI function (Tube Status Indication) can read at any time the status of the installed tubes and thus also the readiness of the amplifier.
