This electric guitar, inspired by the iconic features of early 1960s instruments, serves as a successful tribute to the timeless Vintage Sound of the mid-sixties. It seamlessly blends the classic specifications of the era with Paul Reed Smith's innovative guitar design. Traditional Vintage Double Cut construction meets modern PRS design: The Paul Reed Smith John Mayer Silver Sky MN in Moc Sand finish. Classic Double Cut Design John Mayer's Silver Sky captures the ergonomic feel of traditional double cutaway guitars while elevating the timeless design for modern stages. In addition to classic features like the top-load construction and arm and chest contours, Paul Reed Smith has added the signature 'scoop' to the lower cutaway, which significantly improves playability in the highest positions on the fretboard. Bolt-On Maple Neck The PRS Silver Sky is built with a classic bolt-on design, featuring a four-piece maple neck that is securely attached with a custom Silver Sky neckplate. The vintage tremolo, secured by six screws resting on knife edges, comes equipped with four steel springs, ensuring the baseplate rests securely on the body.
