The existing on-board Effects of the Boss MS-3 can be combined with your favourite Pedals via 3x Effect Loops, whilst connections for Expression Pedals and Foot Switches further refine the handling. In addition, the MS-3 can control Amplifiers or other Effect Devices via the Control Out Connectors and the MIDI Output. Multi-Effects & Pedals At the heart of the MS-3 Multi Effects Switcher is the Effects Engine, which provides Guitarists and Bassists with a total of 112x Effects from the areas of Overdrive/Distortion, Delay/Reverb, Modulation and Dynamics in first-class studio quality. 3x Effect Loops can be used to integrate your favourite Pedals into the Signal Path of the MS-3 and combine them freely with its sounds, so that there are no limits to the sonic possibilities. Once the right sound has been found, it can be stored on one of 200x Memory Locations. Extensive Routing Options The Boss MS-3 Multi Effects Switcher is characterised by extensive Control Options. For example, 2x "Control In" Sockets allow the connection of optionally available Expression Pedals or Footswitches, which provide direct control over various parameters. The Boss MS-3 can also be used to conveniently control Amplifiers, Effects Units or entire Stage Set-Ups via the "Control Out" Connector and MIDI Output.
