As part of the popular Player series, this Stratocaster electric guitar offers tried and tested features in the form of a solid alder body with a bolt-on modern 'C' maple neck and three Fender Player Series Alnico 5 single coils, which faithfully reproduce all the tonal facets of a successful Stratocaster. This special edition is completed by a modernized 2-point tremolo system and six Fender Standard Cast/Sealed tuners, while the 'Anniversary 2-Color Sunburst' high-gloss finish, based on the colour scheme of the very first Stratocasters from 1954, refers to its milestone birthday.
