The typical clear Metallica crunch is provided by the EMG Bone Breaker with KH voicing, which can be individually implemented on the slim maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Thanks to its Korina body, the KH-V is handy and is thus always gig-ready in its accompanying ESP case. The high-glimmering finishes of this metal axe are accordingly tonally resilient and an absolute eye-catcher. The ESP KH-V Kirk Hammett Signature electric guitar impresses with its active pickup lineup and is available in three shimmering custom colors. EMG KH Bone Breaker Pickups and Features Two active EMG KH Bone Breaker pickups in the neck and bridge positions deliver an assertive sound at the amp with high Output, which faithfully articulates any gain pressure with pronounced mids, true to the Metallica sound. The combination of Alnico 5 and ceramic magnets thereby provides a sound spectrum from sharp-clear lead sounds to rounded rhythm tones, which can be easily adjusted via the 3-way circuit and volume and tone controls. Furthermore, the ESP KH-V Kirk Hammett Signature Red Sparkle is equipped with a TonePros Locking TOM bridge and LTD locking mechanisms for ideal tuning stability. Structure and processing Thanks to the lightness of the Korina wood body, the ESP KH-V Kirk Hammett Signature offers comfortable playing characteristics. The three-piece maple neck is especially designed for riffing and solos à la Kirk Hammett over 24-frets thanks to its full-length construction in Extra Thin-'U' profile, while the fingerboard made of Makassar ebony with the Custom waveinlays is another highlight of the KH-V.
