SSL 500 SERIES The SSL E-Series 611EQ is a 500 series EQ module from the channel strip of the legendary Solid State Logic SL 4000 E consoles. Designed and produced throughout the '80s, the sonic signature of these modules was envied for its punchy and distinctly British sound, which is now available for your lunchbox or 500 series rack. The E-Series 611EQ feature 4 bands for maximum sonic manipulation if required. The 611EQ features both the circuits that were the options for the console back then, the Black 242 and the Brown 02, switchable depending on what sort of sound is desired. The high and low frequency bands are shelving filters which can be switched to bell curves, and the high-mid and low-mid filters have a variable q control for broad shaping or surgical cutting. The IN button allows the user to listen to the sound pre and post EQ to compare the difference.
