MIDI-TRS adapter Doepfer A-100PBK at a glance With the A-100PBK, Doepfer introduces an Eurorack enclosure with an integrated keyboard, which is especially suitable for live performers and keyboard players. The Case offers a total of 188 HP of module space on two rows of 94 HP each. The top row is bevelled, creating a special look with good usability. The cabinet is slightly wider than the A-100P6 and A-100P9 case cabinets, so they can be easily placed on top of the A-100PB. The top surface of the A-100PBK is also matched to the depth of the A-100P6/P9. The A-100PBK is equipped with a PSU3 power supply and 2 backplanes. The backplanes are located in the rear area (i.e. also the backplanes for the modules that are mounted in the front area), so that the height in the front area can be fully used. The keyboard housed in the lid has a lightly weighted 37-key keyboard, is velocity sensitive, produces aftertouch, and is monophonic. The MIDI channel is fixed to channel 1 and cannot be changed. The keyboard is connected to the breakout module, which can be freely positioned in the Case, with an included cable. This module outputs the MIDI data via a MIDI-TRS adapter which is also included. When equipping the lower row of modules, it is essential to ensure that the maximum height above the front panels does not exceed 40 mm! This applies eg. Modules with tubes, joystick controllers or several cables on top of each other (stack cables). Otherwise, Module and/or the keyboard can be damaged! Notice: The PSU3 switching power supply built into the A-100PB handles an input voltage of 100-240 volts AC and is thus eg. suitable for use in the USA respectively worldwide. Please note that we do not supply a suitable power cable outside the EU.
