The Bettacare Chunky Wooden Screw Fit Pet Gate range fits all gaps between 63.5cm - 105.5cm. These gates can be opened either way and operated with one hand. The robust screw fitting design is easily installed, but once in place makes a solid barrier which will withstand the impact from even the most spirited of pets. The gate panels measure 71cm in height, and when using the installation template the gate will measure 75.5cm from the floor. It is possible to mount the gate higher off the floor if preferred, but it is advised to ensure your pet can not crawl under the height you install the lower set of fittings. The solid wood frame is thicker than the average screw fitted gate measuring a full 5cm (with panels interlocking). The wider frame provides a more solid feel to the gate, ensures a quieter closing mechanism, and provides greater protection against dogs chewing. (it is recommended to purchase additional anti-chew spray should you be worried your pet may consistently try to chew the gate). The gates can additionally be used outdoors, however it is recommended to remove the panels from the fittings for storage during prolonged periods of wet weather.
