Do you feed or fertilise with pellets? With the Wiesenfield pellet press, you can produce up to 400 kg of feed sticks per hour. Alternatively, you can process up to 180 kg of wood chips per hour. Each piece of the raw material should be less than 6 mm in size. The pellet press is powered via a PTO shaft through the auxiliary drive of a tractor or other utility vehicle with a power output of 5 to 28 HP. Moreover, the ability to run continuously for 24 hours enables the effortless production of large quantities. The control element is clearly organised and intuitive. An easily accessible emergency stop button ensures safety – as does the protective grid in the large filling hopper. Whether wood pellets or feed granules, the pellet machine presses various materials into practical sticks. But how does it work? You heat the pellet press to 60 to 80°C. Then, two heavy rollers press the raw material through a 230 mm diameter die. The result: firmly compressed, durable pellets with a diameter of 6 mm. If you want to produce pellets with a different diameter, you will need different moulds. Use the practical discharge chute to fill the finished pellets directly into bags. Note on wearing parts: You can use the built-in dies and rollers for pellet presses for up to 300 hours. If they are worn, replace them promptly.
