With its 97.6 hectares of vineyards, the Chteau represents true excellence. Vineyards, with an average age of 43 years, stand on the edge of the Gironde estuary, sinking their roots into soils rich in alluvial gravel typical of the Médoc. Connétable Talbot's blend is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvesting is by hand, followed by meticulous grape selection to ensure maximum quality. Vinification in stainless steel vats, subsequent ageing takes place exclusively in barriques. In the glass, Connétable Talbot reveals all its personality. On the nose, floral and fruity aromas are enriched by subtle spicy and toasted notes.
