Patented Proheat Elements Each ProHeat element has more winds-per-square-centimetre than other elements, providing even browning and the perfect crunch to your toast. These elements have a protective covering made from Mica that is food safe and helps to provide a protective layer that is nearly unbreakable. Because these parts are replaceable they help in prolonging the working life of the toaster. Controls Featuring easy to use controls, the energy-efficient slot-selector lets you select between heating one or both slots and the mechanical timer gives full control over your browning preferences. You can check the progress of your toast at any time by pressing down on the manual ejector knob. Key Features Includes 2 extra-wide (28mm) slots to accommodate all sizes of bread. The Classic's high-lift mechanism allows you to easily remove smaller items, while the removable crumb tray keeps work surfaces clean and tidy.
